About Us

Collectible-Gifts.com was launched to offer some vintage collectibles from the 1970s originally sold in a small upscale costume jewelry and watch shop in Birmingham, Michigan. The owner was a watchmaker, his wife a creative buyer of the latest and greatest costume jewelry designs by well known artists. Many of the items were featured in the Detroit Free Press because they were out of the ordinary. They closed the shop in 1986, but had lots of leftovers which I obtained in the last few years. Anything Little Orphan Annie sold well in the shop, including necklaces, pins and dolls. Also popular were costume jewelry designs under the Hattie Carnegie brand name and from Willie Woo, a popular of the time who specialized in beautiful rhinestone pins.
